What are your thoughts on this topic? Do you take away your kids technology to manage their behaviour?

Lets face it- car trips, plane rides, dinner in restaurants, coffee with a friend or friends- any of these occurrences with children in tow is hardly ever relaxing. Technology whether it be the ipad, iphone, the smart phone, the tablet or the dvd is in many cases good entertainment for the kids but a life saver for the parents. I mean how many times can you play 'I spy' on a 4 hour car trip???

Definitely agree with Clare...we live about five hours from Brisbane and there is no way I can entertain a 2 year old and 3 year old for that long in the car. Although sometimes I do feel guilty for using it at home when I just need a break. Everything in moderation is the key!

I think everything in moderation. If you’ve got to travel a long distance, nothing wrong with it, as long as there is a big run at the end.
